Terra Mãe, meaning "motherland" in Portuguese, continues to capture the spirit of our Rutherglen estate, a love letter from Rutherglen to you. The 2024 vintage is bolder and more brooding than the year before, drawing you in with dark red fruits and enticing notes of baking spice. Medium to full bodied, it carries a richly savoury, spicy character that sets this release apart, with fine supple tannins and a bright acidity that lend length and structure through to a long, satisfying finish.
Aged for 12 months in large-format French oak, this vintage leans into depth, spice and dark fruit generosity, with subtle structure that lets the fruit speak for itself. It is a wine built for the table, lovely alongside slow roasted meats, hearty pasta dishes or aged hard cheeses. Every release of Terra Mãe is a celebration of our connection to the land and the personality of each growing season. Just as every vintage brings its own story, so does the label, with subtle updates in patterns and colours adding a fresh twist to every bottle.
