The 2024 Vintage Fortified is the latest release from Stanton & Killeen. Crafted from Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barocca, Touriga Nacional, Grand Noir and Tinto Cão, the 2024 Vintage Fortified delivers an outstanding expression with a distinctly Portuguese character. An excellent season has produced a wine of considerable depth and power, with an aromatic generosity and richness that signals great potential ahead.

Deep, brilliant dark ruby in the glass, the nose leads with florals; violets and purple blossoms rising through layers of dark berry fruit. On the palate, blackcurrant and cassis open into rich dark chocolate and cacao, with savoury depth and a fine tannin structure built to age. The spirit is beautifully integrated, carrying the fruit with warmth and lift.

The finish is long and dry, with lasting tannins and a lingering dark chocolate character underpinned by the vibrancy of fresh fruit. This is a wine of real presence and grace.

Still in its youth, the 2024 will reward cellaring. Its powerful fruit and structure will harmonise beautifully with time, developing layers of complexity and elegance across many years to come.
